The EDGE at Liberty Green is being co-developed by City Properties Group and AU Associates. Both firms have years of experience creating innovative projects that combine residential, retail and entertainment elements into a winning mix.

City Properties Group

Led by architect and managing developer Bill Weyland, City Properties Group has overseen many challenging projects that have become some of downtown Louisville’s most iconic and distinctive landmarks. The Louisville Slugger Museum and Bat Factory, the $20 million restoration of the Henry Clay building, the Kentucky Opera building, the Glassworks building and its neighbor, the ZirMed Towers, are some of the highest profile accomplishments. Each has had a positive impact on the city and become a welcome part of its landscape.

City Properties Group has expertise in the areas of architecture, urban planning, preservation, asset management, property management, construction, marketing, events planning, and commercial and residential real estate. By utilizing all of these disciplines, the firm is able to create new and exciting urban neighborhoods that also preserve the unique heritage found at each site.

AU Associates

AU Associates was founded in 1990 by founding principal and president, Holly Wiedemann. The firm specializes in urban infill and revitalization of existing structures.

AU Associates has been instrumental in preserving more than 20,000 units of housing across the United States, valued at over $23 million. The firm has been directly responsible for the creation of more than 157 units of mixed income housing and 55,000 square feet of commercial uses in urban infill and adaptive re-use settings. These projects have totaled $21.8 million.

AU Associates is responsible for the renovation and revitalization of the St. Francis High School building in downtown Louisville. In addition to housing the innovative high school, the building also contains apartments and retail offices.
