Activity is taking place around the Liberty Green Neighborhood

New retail and entertainment opportunities have opened in the NuLu area along East Market and Jefferson streets including the Louisville Beer Store and the Little Green Building. Development is also occurring in the medical district as a $40 million renovation and expansion is underway at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, and Norton Hospital recently announced plans for a new radiation center to treat pediatric and adult cancers and tumors. The University of Louisville also recently completed the Clinical & Translational Research Building, designed to achieve LEED Certification for sustainable architecture. In addition, St. Boniface Church is currently undergoing an extensive interior renovation.
